GoSorterEmail - High-Speed Bulk Email Domain & MX Sorting Software

GoSorterEmail is a multithreaded Windows application designed to process and organize large TXT lists by email domain, mail provider, and MX infrastructure.

The software extracts domains from input lines, analyzes their DNS MX records, compares domains and MX hosts against configurable sorting rules, and saves the original processed lines into separate categorized TXT files.

GoSorterEmail is suitable for list organization, domain analysis, mail infrastructure research, provider distribution statistics, data preparation, and other legitimate data-processing tasks.

• Automatic statistics: Generate a CSV report containing category names, record counts, and percentages.
• Periodic result saving: Results are written to disk at configurable intervals during long jobs.
• Processing markers: The software creates .block and .checked files to track files that are being processed or have already been completed.
• Optional duplicate removal: Remove duplicate lines from top-level result files after processing.
• Input cleanup: Remove selected unwanted characters before a line is analyzed.
• English and Russian documentation: The included configuration file contains detailed explanations in both languages.

How It Works

1. Place one or more TXT files inside the configured input directory.
2. Start GoSorterEmail using the supplied launcher.
3. The software reads every non-empty line and attempts to extract a valid email domain.
4. The extracted domain is checked against the rules located in data_sorting.
5. If no domain rule matches, GoSorterEmail requests the domain's MX records and checks the returned MX hosts against the same sorting rules.
6. The processed line is saved to the appropriate categorized TXT file.
7. A detailed statistical report is generated in tmp/statistics.csv.

Supported Input

GoSorterEmail works with plain-text files containing one record per line. It supports plain email addresses, domain names, and several common delimiter-based line formats. Additional data contained in a line can be preserved in the resulting categorized file.

Output Categories

Matching entries are written to provider or category files defined by the rule files in data_sorting. Entries that do not match a known category are placed into one of the following files:

• others(mx).txt - the domain has one or more MX records, but no configured category matched.
• others(no_mx).txt - no usable MX records were found.
• no-valid.txt - the line or extracted domain could not be recognized as valid input.

BIG-Domain Detection

The optional BIG-domain mode can identify frequently repeated domains and MX hosts. Thresholds can be configured separately for email domains and MX infrastructure.

When BIG-domain mode is enabled, standard provider sorting rules are bypassed. Frequently repeated entries can be saved to files such as:

• big-by-domain.txt
• big-by-domain(mx).txt
• tmp/big_domains.txt
• tmp/big_mx.txt
• tmp/big_mx_analysis.txt

Important Accuracy Notice

GoSorterEmail does not guarantee 100% accurate or complete results.

Classification is based on the input format, configured sorting rules, publicly available DNS information, and MX records returned at the time of processing. Results may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect for reasons outside the software's control.

Possible causes include:

• Temporary DNS failures, timeouts, or rate limits
• Unavailable or incorrectly configured DNS resolvers
• Missing, recently changed, or misconfigured MX records
• DNS propagation delays
• Shared MX infrastructure used by multiple providers
• Custom corporate mail systems
• Forwarding services, filtering gateways, and third-party spam protection
• Outdated, overlapping, or incomplete sorting rules
• Malformed or unsupported input lines

The software does not connect to mailboxes, perform SMTP mailbox verification, confirm account ownership, or guarantee that an individual email address exists, can receive messages, or is deliverable.

All generated results should be treated as informational classification data. Important results should be reviewed or verified using additional independent methods before they are used for business or technical decisions.

System Requirements

• Microsoft Windows
• Internet connection for license validation and DNS/MX lookups
• Write permission in the application directory
• Sufficient RAM and network capacity for the selected thread settings

DNS queries are sent to the system or third-party DNS resolvers configured by the user. Online license validation communicates with the product's license server.
