GoAutoResponder - Multi-Account IMAP/SMTP Email Auto-Reply Software

GoAutoResponder is a locally operated Windows application designed to automate email replies across multiple authorized mailboxes. It connects directly to IMAP and SMTP servers, scans incoming messages, applies configurable filters, generates personalized replies from templates, and sends responses through the corresponding email account.

Requirements

• A Windows computer or Windows server.
• Network access to the required IMAP and SMTP servers.
• Valid credentials for mailboxes you own or are authorized to manage.
• IMAP and SMTP access enabled by the email provider.
• An OpenAI API key only when the optional AI functions are enabled.
• Go development tools only if you intend to rebuild the source code.

Important Operational Information

Review the included settings and templates before starting the application. Some configuration options can mark matching messages for deletion and execute an IMAP EXPUNGE operation. Always test new settings with a dedicated mailbox before using them with important email accounts.

When an SMTP server does not provide STARTTLS, the application can continue through an unencrypted connection. In that situation, credentials and message content may travel without encryption. Use non-TLS connections only with trusted servers and trusted networks.

Authorized Use

GoAutoResponder is intended for legitimate customer communication, support mailboxes, internal workflows, notifications, account testing, and other authorized email-automation tasks. Use it only with accounts and recipients you are legally permitted to process.

The software must not be used for unsolicited bulk email, phishing, unauthorized access, credential abuse, or violation of an email provider's terms and applicable anti-spam regulations.
